A Personal Trainer for Your Toddler

There was a rumor going around that Kim Kardashian hired a personal trainer for her 2 year old daughter North. And people are getting their panties in a bunch about it. Not sure if the rumors are true but if they are I see it as a great idea and applaud her for making exercise as part of her daughter's routine. She is giving her daughter a great start and there is a good chance that North will always make exercise part of her routine.

Making exercise a regualr part of your kids day is a great way to raise fit and healthy kids. Places like Gymboree and My Gym are places designed to keep toddlers and kids active. These places take fun activities like mini zip lines and trampolines and charge parents to let their kids play/exercise.

A friend of mine has 2 young kids and she and her husband are big supporters of exercise. He is a physical therapist and knows the importance of exercise for you body's well-being. As part of their daily schedule their 2 kids have to get in 60 minutes of exercise in. Sometimes its in their home gym or sometimes its at a sports camp or swim meet.  It's such a small percentage of their day but makes a big impact.
