As the weather and the leaves are turning, it's time for family fun at the pumpkin patch. Corn mazes, hay rides and of course pumpkin picking! It is one of my favorite annual trips. After you have picked the perfect pumpkin and get it home - it is time to decorate it!
Here are some alternatives to the usual pumpkin carving....
1. Cookie Cutter. After hallowing out your pumpkin use cookie cutters and a mallet to punch out shapes. Cookie cutters come in all kinds of different shapes so the possibilities are endless!
2. Ribbons. No need to even cut your pumpkin open! Just some ribbon and garland and some hot glue you can decorate in any color scheme to match any decor.
3. Paint your pumpkin! No matter what artistic talent you have anyone can paint a pumpkin. You can get fancy and artistic, or just add a solid color. You can even paint with chalkboard paint and write on your pumpkin!
