  1. My favorite theme park memory is when I was 9 months pregnant with my second daughter. We decided to do a mini-vacation and stayed at a hotel in Anaheim. We spent two days at Disneyland, our last time as a family of three. It was the perfect trip! My then 1-yr-old daughter got to meet Mickey and she was thrilled!

  2. Most of my best family memories involve theme parks. Even though I am a Disney fan through and through I think the best times have been at Knott's Berry Farm in Camp Snoopy with the kids. Watching our little girl brave the rides all by herself while we watch on the sidelines, snapping photos, video taping her and trying to disguise our nerves, are some of the most fond memories I have.

Also, a not so good memory, but a VIVID one, is the time I took my 18 month old on Pirates of the Caribbean with my mom. She was scared to death and clung to me like plastic wrap. Big mommy lesson learned that day!

  3. Great idea!!! Ok so mine would have to be disneyworld florida. It was a dream of mine to take all my kids there and in 2006 and made it happen!! Summer in Florida is sticky icky icky!!! But we could care less!!! 2 best memories of this trip. I bought a meal plan and spent 3 hrs. reserving dinners and breakfasts and various places that would keep everyone happy and what an adventure!!! Food from all over the globe!! The other memory was actually getting to the hotel from
The airport. I'm a firm advocate of public transportation, especially when traveling w/ a family of 6 and u don't need a car while at the resort so when we got off the plane hubby, my 11, 6, 5, & 3 year old with luggage and all jumped on a bus and went to the hotel. Oh I forgot to mention this was during a lighting storm like we have never seen b4!! It was quite the adventure!

  4. Well my favorite memory is when i took my two stepkids to disneyland for the first time. She was turning 4 at the time and her brother was two. They were too cute and a little scared but they had fun. And now I have my daughter who is 4 months but I can't wait to take her to disneyland.

  5. My favorite theme park memory has to be the first time we took our daughter to Disneyland. She was about 1.5 at the time, now almost 4. She has always been a disney/pixar fan and watching her excitement during the parade was priceless. She danced, clapped and laughed! She kept pointing at the charecters that she recognized, it was awesome!
I can't wait to take our baby boy, he already loves Mickey and he's only 4 months (will be 4 months next week)!

  6. We are avid Disney goers and we have had many wonderful adventures at the parks. This particular day it was on our way. It was a Thursday afternoon in July and we were going with friends. To make the drive more bearable for the kids we treated them to 7-eleven. My two little ones had been potty trained for a few months and the 30 mins to an hour drive would normally be fine except....we sat in traffic for almost 2 hours....and they had go about an hour before. So almost 3 hours of no potty plus of course my two sucked down their slurpies! We are stopped in the carpools lane when I hear from Samantha (the younger but more seniored spotty trained) "mommy, I need to go potty." I look at my friend and the ahead at the bumper to bumper traffic and then to my right at 4 more lanes of bumper to bumper and ask my friend to take the wheel. My friend and I switch and I go to the back seat (I have a mini van) to assist Samantha. She attempted to pee in the 7-eleven cup with no luck she was too uncomfortable. I grabbed an empty ziploc bag and she was comfortable enough to go. And she filled up the bag. As she finishes Jonathan says, "mommy I need to go." At least he was easier, he just peer in the cup! When I sat back down traffic cleared and we were at Disney in about 10 mins...we got there and had a blast and made sure they went potty before we left the park. I will always remember this day as a unexpected adventure, that has turned into a really funny memory! <3 Dbrunaczki@live.com

  7. My favorite theme park memory happened just this past July. Our daughter was days away from turning 4 and she's obsessed with Disney Princesses so we decided we'd take her to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique where she had her hair & make-up done like a Princess to match her Cinderella dress. My Hubby and I will never forget the look on her face when she realized what was going on and the smile on her face when she saw herself in the "magical mirror" was priceless!!!!

I sometimes wish I could erase her memory of that day so that I could take her again and relive that "first".....

  8. My favorite theme park memory has to be when I was 12-13. My uncle packed 9 of my cousins and I in a mini-van and took us to Magic Mountain. Being that it was the 1st time we were scared out of our minds. Yet we made the best of the day. We RAN then WALKED an at the end we begged someone to Carrie us to the car. I will never forget those days. Not to mention the Sugar rush and food coma priceless.

  9. My favorite theme park memory is going to Disneyland with my nephew when he was 4 years old. This was his first time going to any theme park so he was so excited. When we walked to the front gate his eyes were the size of baseballs. He asked if we could stay there forever. LOL. He was in heaven. We spent more time chasing around Buzz Lightyear (His fav at the time) and other character than getting on rides. The best moment was when he tried to pull out the sword in the stone. I immediately rememered myself at his age doing the same thing. It was magical. :)

  10. My favorite memory is when I took my daughter, she was 3 at the time, to her first theme park, Adventure City. she was a little scared at first but once she got on the parachute ride(similar to the swings that go round and round), she didn't want to get off. My poor husband, had to go on the ride at least 10 times in a row! Lol! I got motion sickness just looking at them haha. The best part is that he recorded this priceless memory :)

  11. I have many favorite theme park memories but they all have one thing in common, my family. I have a large family, 6 siblings! Needless to say our family outings were always interesting. My parents worked very hard and always did their best to take us all out for family outings. Since we were so many, our outings to theme parks were not very often. But whenever we did get to go, boy were we an excited bunch! They took us all everywhere; Disneyland, Knott's, Magic Mountain, if it was a place for the family we were there. It was our special way of celebrating our lil (well huge lol) family. Now that I am a parent, I look back and cherish those memories with such fondness. So for me theme park outings are a way to continue the tradition of celebrating family and creating memories thy will last a lifetime.

  13. My favorite theme park memory is when I took my oldest daughter to Legoland CA for the first time. I told my kids we were only going to a park to play (2 hours away). When we got close, my oldest pointed out that Legoland was the next exit. We got off there and she got excited that we might be able to see Legoland as we pass to the park. When I turned into the drive, I told her this is where were going for her birthday. She was so excited she was jumping up and and down. She told me she'd never forget this day...

  14. When I was a little kid and in day camp, every year we would go to Disneyland and I remember the feeling of just running wild and free at Tom Sawyers Island. Felt like I was in another little world. We still do this when we go but it's just not the same as when your a kid :)
